Wednesdays: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays: Psykinya will be coming to you with a psychedelic theme, anything from dub to chillout and trance. In each show I will be playing a one hour psy trance set live from my Queens Park studio (bedroom). I hope you enjoy the music as much as I love it.

Thursdays: DJs The Plague and The Masked Phantom deliver a monster helping of wild rock 'n' roll, garage and surf from the 50s and 60s. Featuring interviews, reviews and offering a historical perspective on a musical explosion that changed the world. See myspace.com/gofasterradio.

From our album library
We pick an album at random from our library. We play it all the way through with no interruptions. If it lasts less than an hour, we throw a few random tracks on afterwards. If it lasts more than an hour, it gets cut. Sorry. The software to do it properly casts £2000 and nobody has cracked it because they've only sold 100 copies of it. We make do with software that costs a lot less, so you will have to make do with having long albums cut short. If there is an album you would like to hear, drop us a line.
From our singles library
We pick singles at random from our library. There are several libraries with different flavours, used at different times of day and also as backup if one of the live studios loses it's connection. At 6, 7, 8 and 9am weekdays a meditation podcast precedes the music.
Speech based programme
Every weekday afternoon, we bring you an hour(ish) of original speech based programming. All of it is written, performed, recorded or edited by radio 4A contributors, and features a range of talents, from household names to the unheard. The week divides up as follows:
Mondays: Making Waves podcast
Tuesdays: comedy
Wednesdays: drama
Thursdays: New Internationalist podcast
Fridays: interviews
Pick of MySpace
We select from the new arrivals on MySpace.com and other similar websites. If you would like to hear your music in this slot, email an ogg, m4a or mp3 file to info(at)radio4A.org.uk Or have a look at our MySpace site. Make sure you fill in the details on the metatag properly: title, artist and date are essential. Album title if there is one, duration and bitrate are also helpful. Give it a sensible filename like this: (artist) - (track title).mp3 It won't be listed without all of those details present. There are hundreds of tracks in each playlist for each show and they all have to be catalogued. Your creation has to be ready to drop right into place, or it will be ignored.
Philosophy Lecture
Weekdays: A Philosophy Lecture from Rick Roderick, 'the Bill Hicks of philosophy'. Roderick is famous as a teacher of philosophy, and his lively and amusing lectures on contemporary philosophy provide a clear and provocative introduction to some of the most radical and interesting ideas you can come across. Feed you mind with something worth eating... More information can be found here.
